Vaccine Lies

When you feel the weight of the world
Upon your shoulders
It is an illusion
For you are the world
And the world is you
And it is heavy
And I feel it
Too
I’ve been wearing the same shorts for a week now
Just noticed they’re actually swim trunks
Money is acting all weird
I paid my stylist not to give me a haircut
I left a $20 bill as a tip for a delivery guy
Time is acting all weird
I don’t know, maybe, maybe it’s just impossible to tell how fast it’s going
Because the days no longer have names
The concerts, the dancing, the gathering
That was yesterday month’s yestermonth
and like, right now
As the things I said I would do yesterweek
Slip into tomorrowday
All I have time for
Is things that don’t matter
These words have been percolating in my head for months now but I didn’t have the courage to write and share them.
